The Invasion Of Scarecrows!
The city of Eureka will come alive the entire month of October with colorful and artistic scarecrows posing regally in front of businesses, churches, schools and private homes.
October 1 -30
The Great Scarecrow Hunt
Grab your cell phone and get ready to explore Eureka! This fun competition is designed with everyone in mind. We want to see lots of “Selfies” taken with our wonderful scarecrows. In fact, we’re so excited about it, we’re giving away big cash prizes to three lucky winners!
October 4-6 and October 11-13
Big Bounce America
Head over to Brookdale Farms to join the largest touring inflatable event in the entire world! This all-ages event features some of the most unique and exciting custom-built inflatables ever built. There will be the world largest bounce house (Guinness certified!), 900ft long inflatable obstacle course, a giant maze, slides, ball pits and climbing walls galore!

Big Truck and Safety Day
Trucks, tractors, and helicopters, oh my! Bring the kids out to explore different modes of transportation!
The Eureka Police Department will also be putting on their Safety Day, which will include demonstrations and games for kids to learn about safety. Parking will be located at Geggie Elementary.

Haunted Places in St. Louis
Join Doug Schneider as he reports on St. Louis paranormal history, paranormal activity today and how to behave when spirits are in your home.

Grab a girlfriend and get ready for a fun & fabulous girls night out fundraiser with cocktails, light appetizers, raffle tickets, and dancing!
The “Little Black Dress Party” is being put on by Not In My Back Yard, a 501c3 organization. Every single penny NOT IN OUR BACKYARD raises stays in Eureka to help those in need.

Harvest Moon Run 5k & Kids Run
Runners and walkers alike will enjoy a mostly flat course through Historic Route 66 State Park for this one of a kind night run. Pathlighters will be “aglow” at every turn lighting your steps as you zip by on your way to the moonlit finish line.
Proceeds benefit the Eureka Food Pantry and Eureka-Pacific Elks Lodge Weekend Backpack Food Program.

Come and see how beautiful Hidden Valley is in the Fall! Hidden Valley’s Oktoberfest will have plenty of Beer, Pretzels & Fun! Enjoy fall activities including a Stein Hoisting Competition for you to show off your strength (and win stuff!), beanbag toss, beer tasting, giveaways and so much more!

The Hilltop Music Festival will be a day of food, fun, crafts, and of course great music! Bring your neighbors and friends, there will be something for everyone! Be sure to check back often as more information will be made available!

The Eureka Scarecrow Festival is all about community, family, and fun! This new event, the “TranslVEINa Donation” (Blood Drive) is about giving back. Did you know that a single blood donation can save up to three lives! Realty Executives Trunk or Treat
Join us for the 7th annual safe Halloween Trunk or Treat event. Trunks and booths are set up by local businesses for the public to enjoy! Over 1500 in attendance last year. Everything is FREE! So put on a costume and bring a treat bag to fill up!

Lil' Monsters Halloween Parade
Come dressed in costume and be a part of the Lil' Monster's Halloween Parade. It’s a great way for the entire family to have fun together! Everyone is welcome and the kids will have a blast!
The parade will start at the Shoppes at Hilltop Center (Meramec Blvd. across from Culvers and FCNB) and travel down Hilltop Village Center Drive ending at the Realty Executives Trunk or Treat event at the Hilltop Village Center Shopping Center. NO FEE to participate!
October 29 - 6pm-8pm
Grab your ghoul’s best friend and get into the Halloween spirit at the Eureka Dog Park! Dress up your pooch for a costume contest, snack on some spooky treats, and howl at the moon with your pup in the park. Owners must show current proof of rabies, Bordetella and DHLPP vaccinations.
